December 1, 2015 - As part of Smile Train’s global Giving Tuesday celebration, students at I.S. 96 Seth Low in Brooklyn, NY welcomed a very special visitor, Miss Universe Paulina Vega from Colombia.
The students of Seth Low are preparing to launch their 3rd annual Smile Train fundraiser and their goal is to raise enough funds to create 20 new smiles! Throughout the month of January, each student will be empowered to raise awareness about Smile Train’s cause and to raise funds from their family and friends in exchange for a Smile Train wristband.
Miss Vega spoke to the Seth Low community about the importance of giving back and why she supports Smile Train’s sustainable model which empowers local doctors to provide free cleft repair surgeries in their communities.
